FIRST is a program founded in 1989 that encourages students to focused on
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

FIRST is an acronym that stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. Every year, FIRST changes it's theme and creates a robotic competition centered around that theme. FIRST has three different programs for various ages: FIRST Lego League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition.

This years' game theme is Decode. The season is focused around archeology. The intro to the season elaborates more upon the season, season's theme, and all of the fundamentals and goals of FIRST.
